A local Agricultural Learning Guide

Created by the Food Security Team at Community Connections Revelstoke Society

The Revelstoke Food Security program of Community Connections works towards implementing the recommendations from the 2014 Revelstoke Food Security Strategy. This strategy outlines opportunities that will lead to a secure food system. A system that is rooted in the community and is centered on good food that is healthy, sustainable and affordable. The Revelstoke Food Security program hopes to create a culture which supports local food production, where possible

This guide aims to link those hoping to start or learn more about food production or the food production industry, with the skills and knowledge to do so. The goal is to increase food production in and around Revelstoke by supporting and developing new local food production.
