Our Farm to Table Dinner was a huge success!

Midsummer Night's Green, our Annual Farm to Dinner Fundraiser was a huge success and a great night with our community celebrating Revelstoke's incredible local food scene 💖

Set at First Light Farm, the night proved to be full of beautiful views, enticing conversations and a delicious local meal created by Austin Luciow from the Neighbourhood Kitchen.

We want to thank everyone that purchased a tickets and made it such a special night. We were able to raise over $4500 for the LFI which is HUGE!

We'd also like to thank:

Jesse Johnston-Hill and Chris Rubens, who were incredible hosts

Austin and the Neighbourhood Kitchen, who went above and beyond to showcase our local providers

Monashee Distillery, who supplied the alcohol

Izzy and Simon from Holm Coffee, who supplied the coffee and were our incredible Bartenders for the evening

Bird Tree Urban Farm, who provided the beautiful floral centerpieces

Big Eddy Glass, who provided the beautiful glassware

Eleven Revelstoke Lodge, for a large donation of glassware and crockery that were used throughout the night

Big Eddy Pub, for ongoing support

Begbie Brewery, for keeping us hydrated

Cheers, for the dinner wine

Matt Timmins, for beautiful photos of the evening

All our volunteers who made the night possible and oh so smooth!

And all of our silent Auction donators!

garden tour

The Garden & Art Tour typically promotes local food by pairing together local gardens and artists to showcase the talent we have in our community. With a global pandemic thrusting us into a new reality, many Revelstoke residents found themselves with extra time on their hands. Starting a garden and being empowered to grow your own food became a new hobby for many people. We visited several new and already existing small-scale growers to see how the pandemic affected their backyards (or front yards, or rooftops..) Take a look through the gallery below, you may see a neighbour or a friend proudly showcasing their newly formed or re-established love for backyard food production.
