Whether you can come once, or come every week - all are welcome! This is an energy exchange… one there is food to harvest you will get food in exchange for time and energy given to the garden.
Food grown will go to volunteers, School District 19 foods programs, Senior living homes & the foodbank.

Join us in collaboration with certified herbalist Sherri of Wild Earth Medicines at the Food Commons on June 5th from 4pm-6pm for a hands-on workshop exploring the art of growing medicine. Whether you’re a seasoned gardener or just getting started - this 2 hour gathering will introduce you to the fundamentals of cultivating medicinal plants from seed to harvest. Through discussion & hands-on activities you’ll leave with with practical knowledge, a plant or seed packet and a deeper connection to the healing potential in your own garden. Space is limited, registration is required.
