The Revelstoke Local Food Initiative is excited to announce we will be hosting the Home Sweet Home Field School on their 2016 Summer Tour.

While in Revelstoke, they will be offering their Food Business Micro-Incubator Workshop for a handful of people who want to start a food business or have a food business with a challenge they need to solve. This is a great workshop if you’ve ever wondered how to get your value-added food business, market stand or social enterprise off the ground.

The micro-incubator is a space for current or future food businesses to bring their idea or current challenges to a supportive, feedback-driven environment. By participating, you will have the opportunity to workshop your ideas through a handful of individual and group exercises. By the end of the workshop, you will have a strong plan to build your new food business or a strategy to innovate through your current food business challenges! All kinds of food businesses are invited to participate but space is limited so please register online.

This micro-incubator has a few spaces for observers to participate in a supportive role and witness the incubator process. There has been much interest in having a food business incubator in Revelstoke and we invite you to observe to learn about what that process can look like here.
