Join the Revelstoke Local Food Initiative and the North Columbia Environmental Society in celebrating the plentiful local and wild foods of Revelstoke!
We will be hosting the Local and Wild Potluck on Sunday, October 14th. Come out and share a dish made with locally sourced items - if you hunted, fished, foraged, grew it for yourself, or bought at the market, we want to celebrate the bounty as a community.
This is a BYOP event (bring your own plate!). Location TBA.
Let us know what you plan on bringing so we can get a diverse range of dishes:
Sauteed vegetables from Terra Firma Farms, a delicious salad made with ingredients from Wild Flight Farm, wild foraged gooseberry jam on cheese/cheeze from Terroir Cheese or Black Sheep Vegan Cheeze, chanterelle mushroom soup or bolete mushroom sauce on chicken breast from Hoisington Organic Farms. The options are limitless!
FREE for LFI and NCES members. $5 if you come to eat, but don't bring a dish. Donations appreciated.
